Caseworkers blamed in death-Caseworkers
blamed in death. Grandparents of a toddler who died in foster care last
week say Marion County Child Protection Services caseworkers failed to make sure
their grandchild was receiving adequate medical care. Agency
failed to ensure foster home took care of boy's medical needs.
May 9, 2004 FACES demonstrated against Resolute, in
Indianapolis, on Mothers Day. Fourteen people braved the hot sun to tell
the world what a mistreatment center Resolute is. We passed out fliers and got
some attention from the media. We also learned, from a couple of the
neighbors, that they had no idea what this place was for. When it was built they
had been told that it was a mental health facility for kids who had been abused.
It is actually a place where boys who have acted out sexually are being
warehoused at a cost of approximately $300 a day. These boys have not raped
anyone. They have committed the crime of having raging hormones and finding
girls who are willing to participate. Now, thanks to FACES, the people who live
in this area know who really lives at Resolute and that their families want them
back home. A special thanks to Ken, Misty and Torn, who are not actually members
of FACES, but showed up to help our cause. It was very much appreciated.

Constitutional Chaos : What Happens When the Government Breaks Its Own Laws
Judge Napolitano makes the solid case that there is a pernicious and
ever-expanding pattern of government abuse in America’s criminal justice
